I graduated six months back.
My course was so intense that I was creating art just to survive deadlines. Not because I loved it.
No breaks. No space.
Just constant pressure.
Somewhere in those years, I stopped creating for me.
After graduation, everything went quiet.
No job. No direction.
Just me and this heavy feeling I couldn’t shake.
I felt lost. And honestly… a little broken.
So I started healing. Slowly. From the inside out.
And somewhere in that process, I felt something tiny come back.
A spark.
I had art block for years.
Now, I can finally create again.
I’m not fully there yet.
But this account? It’s mine.
I started over.
I started creating just for myself.

I spent a really long time thinking that I was the problem. Diminishing myself. Playing down my opinions, thoughts or feelings. Trying to make other people happy at the expense of my own.
I stopped myself from dancing when music played.
I stopped myself from crying when I was moved.
I stopped myself from laughing for fear of looking stupid.
I stopped myself from sharing my truth because of what others might think.
In the process I convinced myself that I needed to be different to belong.
And yet, I didn’t feel like I belong in my own life. Then @brenebrown said this “Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
And @glennondoyle said this “You will be too much for some people, those aren’t your people”. Slowly, I decided to be the girl who said things like “it would be so fun to just dance in the rain”. The ones who wanted to stay, stayed. The ones who didn’t, left. And the ones that I felt I had been looking for my whole life, seemed to find me. So, we danced.
Yes, I share my life on the internet and that’s how I found these women (& the others not pictured ♥️) But I have found true belonging personal life too, just by being me. More importantly, I found myself.

_BI’m 23, and I’m a bit embarrassed, and afraid to admit that—
1.I’m unemployed. I’ve never held a job in my entire life. I don't even have a degree.
2.I was once considered a ‘gifted child’ and did well in school without much effort. But as I grew up, I started getting worse and worse each year until I eventually had to drop out of college. Sometimes I feel deeply insecure about my education.
3.I grew up very sheltered, and now my social skills are almost non-existent. You could say that I don't really have any friends. It makes me feel very lonely sometimes.
4.It took me 23 years to realize that I can be my own person — not just someone’s daughter, someone’s sister, or someone’s expectation. Now I’m on my path to find myself instead.
5.Content creation has been a dream of mine for a long time, but I never dared to try it because I was insecure , about what people would think of my unconventional home. And also because I think I'm not interesting enough. But now, I’m finally daring to try it anyway.
6.I’m considered quite behind for someone my age, but for me, my life has just started ,and I’m excited to experience more of it.
7.I have dreams of visiting different countries, which seems impossible when I look at my life right now ,but I truly believe, from the bottom of my heart, that they’ll come true.
This took a lot of courage for me. But I can say that my excitement overpowered my nervousness.
The excitement of finally trying something different with my life, to find my own community, to document my own growth, to... maybe get new opportunities in my life through it.
If you're like me, this space is for you.
And I hope this space can be a safe place for us.

LUI thought 2 weeks abroad would feel like freedom
Instead the last few days I felt anxious, lost, and guilty
The quiet felt loud
The space felt really unfamiliar

No routines, no constant needs - just me!!!
