After 200+ flights with our three little explorers, we can confidently say: flying with kids doesn’t have to be stressful, especially when flight attendants are kind and thoughtful. We’ve flown low-cost airlines and the fancy ones, long-haul and short-haul, and honestly, there’s no difference in how amazing the crews can be. Every single time, the flight attendants have been patient, supportive, and genuinely caring and we’ve never had a situation where we needed to report anything unkind. Our most recent flight was on Frontier, from Orlando to Chicago. With our daughter in a cast for a broken ankle, the crew was incredibly sweet - checking on her multiple times, offering help, and just making us feel seen. Moments like these remind us that kindness is contagious, and it can turn a challenging travel day into a beautiful memory. 💛 So next time you fly, let’s all lead with patience and kindness, especially toward families traveling with little ones. It makes all the difference - for kids, parents, and everyone on board. 🌍✨ #FlyingWithKids #FamilyTravel #Travelwithkids #worldschooling #frontier @flyfrontier

A Former Flight Attendant Revealed This Secret for Families Flying with Kids ✈️🤍 She said most parents don’t realize this. It’s not about asking for special treatment. It’s about how you say it. During boarding, calmly say these 2 sentences… “We’re traveling with two kids today. If there’s anything required to make the flight comfortable for everyone, we’re quite flexible.” That’s it. Why this works for families? • It shows respect for the crew • It tells them you’re cooperative, not demanding • It signals you care about everyone’s experience, not just yours Flight attendants remember kind, flexible families. Those families often get quieter rows, extra patience, helpful check ins, and sometimes little surprises for the kids. 💡 Travel Trivia: Cabin crew are trained to mentally note passengers who reduce stress onboard. Families who communicate calmly during boarding are more likely to receive proactive help during the flight. This isn’t about upgrades. It’s about connection, kindness, and traveling smarter with kids 🤍 👇 COMMENT FAMILY and we’ll send you the private link to our Travel Family Club ✈️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This isn’t just another travel group. It’s a safe, judgment free community for parents who actually travel with kids and get it. If you’re flying long haul with little kids and not booking business class… this is the next best thing. 🙌 The Skycouch on Air New Zealand turns a row of economy seats into a little couch/bed situation and honestly? It’s a game changer. ✔️ Kids can fully lay down ✔️ You can snuggle instead of wrestling a toddler upright ✔️ No one’s dangling off the seat at 2am ✔️ Still way cheaper than business class We booked economy + Skycouch from Auckland to Los Angeles and it made an overnight flight with little kids actually doable. I even slept during the night!!! 🤯 We did experience a *little* problem though with my original plan and I’ll share that in my vlog next Sunday!

You thought you left plenty of time. 2 hours before departure feels safe, right? Not when TSA is running 3-hour waits at major airports right now. A family just missed their flight because they underestimated how long it takes to get an infant through security... car seat, liquids, bottles, all of it. That's not rare anymore. TSA staffing shortages tied to the DHS shutdown have slowed security at major airports. Wait times are hitting 3 hours. Some families are reporting they got stuck in lines and didn't make boarding. Here's what that actually costs: Your kid's sleep window disappears waiting in security. Your fuel window closes before you even reach the gate. Your movement window...gone. And you're boarding a dysregulated child because the airport chaos ate every single regulation moment they had. That's why I'm making these changes before our next flight 👇 1. Check TSA app 3 hours before leaving home. 2. If waits are climbing, leave 2.5-3 hours earlier than planned. 3. Check again right before getting in the car—waits spike fast. 4. Make sure TSA PreCheck/Global Entry is current. Because travel meltdowns aren't random. They're predictable when those windows get missed. Comment WINDOW and I'll send my guide on protecting the 5 fragile windows that make or break travel days with little kids.

Here are 5 common mistakes that turn flying with children into chaos: 1️⃣ One toy is never enough. Kids lose interest fast, especially on a plane. That “one book will do” plan usually fails within the first hour. What works: bring a small activity kit with items you only pull out during the flight — stickers, puzzles, tiny surprises. Switch activities often to keep things fresh. 2️⃣ Snacks matter more than you think. At 30,000 feet, hunger hits harder and faster. Sugar may seem easy, but it often backfires. Instead, pack familiar, filling snacks your child actually enjoys — cheese, fruit, crackers, nuts. Offer them gradually, not all at once. 3️⃣ Takeoff and landing need a plan. Ear pressure can be really uncomfortable for kids. If you wait until they complain, it’s already too late. Babies do best with milk or a bottle, toddlers with a straw cup or lollipop. A small step that makes a huge difference. 4️⃣ A well-organized bag saves your sanity. Digging through multiple bags while holding a child is a nightmare. Group everything by purpose: snacks, toys, hygiene, clothes. Zip pouches are your best friend when you only have one free hand. 5️⃣ Rest changes everything. Children don’t fall asleep on cue — especially in a bright, noisy cabin. Bring comfort from home: an eye mask, a familiar blanket, white noise in headphones. Getting even a short nap can completely change the flight. ✈️ It’s not the flight that creates stress — it’s the lack of a system. With the right setup, even a long flight can feel manageable. Do you usually fly hoping for the best… or planning for success? ✨ #momlife #airplane #flight #kids #travel

✈️ Flying with our 4-month-old — a few things that helped Not gonna lie… I was nervous and watched sooo many of these videos beforehand but it honestly wasn’t bad at all. • Baby-wear through TSA — they let you go through with baby on and it makes everything easier. • Wearing baby = hands free + the stroller becomes a place to throw your bags • We traveled with the Doona and TSA just pushed it through the machine • If you formula feed or combo feed, there’s no liquid limit for baby (they’ll test it, but it’s allowed) • We gate-checked the stroller and got it back when we landed, just know you’ll probably be the last ones off the plane because they take a while to bring it up. Overall, it really wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be 🤍 If you’re nervous you’re not alone and you’ve got this mama 🫶 👇 What was your Baby’s First flight age? #flyingwithkids #baby #firstflight #southwest #4monthold
