NOHow to: Flyscreen replacement
1. Measure largest fly screen that needs replacing. Purchase the fly screen. Please check the mesh style as there is many variations and thickness.
2. Remove flyscreen from window. Mine pops out but some require a little more effort such as unscrewing. Google might help if you’re unsure of yours.
3. Pop flyscreen out. I did this but pushing against one side and it loosened. Then peel off and remove the seal as well.
4. Wipe down frame and seal with warm soapy water to remove loose debris.
5. Roll out new flyscreen over the frame. Once have the right size can place seal back.
6. Push the seal into the groove. You can purchase a tool that makes this job go 6x quicker then what I did. But can also make do like I did 🫣😂
7. Once seal is all in place can run over the seal to push down properly in one go.
8. Run a Stanley knife along the edges to remove excess flyscreen. Be careful as fly screen rips easily.
9. Pop flyscreen back and enjoy your work 🙌
