MOCast iron… is it the simplicity, the ruggedness, the zero microplastics and chemicals? I’m not sure what it is exactly, but there’s something about cast iron cookware that just feels right.
For me it’s the aesthetic and the versatility. Open fire, stove top, oven or log burner — it handles it all. Nothing to melt, nothing fragile, just solid kit that works.
Yes, they need a little care, but look after them and they’ll probably outlive you.
This potato baker is my latest addition to the shop and I’m honestly not sure whether to keep it or sell it… it’s just too nice.
So before I convince myself it belongs in my own kitchen, you can rescue it from @altymarket this weekend
