It makes a difference ⬆️ Let’s break down the front double bicep — and why the small details up top make all the difference. From the upper half only. ❌ The incorrect version: Here, my shoulder blades are pulled back and retracted, my elbows are too low, and my neck is compressed. This instantly makes my frame look narrow, shortens my neck, and takes away that powerful V-taper illusion you want in this pose. ✅ The correct version: Instead of retracting, I’m lifting and opening through the chest while keeping the lats flared. My elbows are slightly higher and angled outwards to widen the shape. I’m elongating the neck and lifting the chin slightly, which lengthens the torso and gives that strong, confident posture. This creates width through the delts and lats, height through the neck, and that classic open, aesthetic front double look. #PosingCoach #posingtips

While there are multiple ways to perform Facepulls depending on your goal, in my opinion, the method that makes the most sense is gonna be to train external rotation of the shoulder. The other common way is usually to bias the rear delts but considering that there are probably better exercises for that, the first option makes more sense. With that understanding, the things that you should be focusing on when you’re doing face bowls for external rotation is to: 1) Grip the rope with your thumbs facing back. This will help you avoid any wrist discomfort that might occur. 2) Get into an externally rotated shoulder to begin with by leading with your hands in the most contracted position. Your hands and elbows should be aligned with each other, like you’re doing a front double bicep. 3) Aim the rope for the top of your head rather than your face. This will help you get into that external rotated position. Great exercise to include if you’re more anterior dominant

My favourite exercise for bicep peak is concentration curls using the cables as shown. It’s very easy to control and when doing it try to think of yourself doing a front double bicep pose. Make sure you focus on form more than pushing weight, you don’t want other muscles involved so make sure your core is flexed as well as your glutes to add overall stability. When the weights start to get heavy, and your form starts to suffer, immediately drop the weight and do a drop set as shown in the video. I do 4 sets of this exercises with no exclusive number of reps. I aim for 12 to 15 or to failure, and when I fail, I drop the weight and do the same number of reps again. #gym #gymmotivation #fitness #fitnessmotivation #fit #bodybuilding #bodybuildingmotivation #fitnesslifestyle #malemodel #workout #lamborghini #huracan #mtlcars #workout #bicep #bicepexercises
