Sekitar 1 tahun sebelum pandemi Covid-19, sejumlah pemuka agama dari keuskupan gereja di Inggris mengeluarkan pernyataan untuk meminta anggota parlemen dan pemerintah setempat membuat aturan yang mengatur soal etika dan teknologi. Mereka khawatir era A.I. dan automasi akan menggerus nilai-nilai moral, agama dan kemanusiaan.
Dialektika dan diskursus soal dampak pembiasaan dari kemajuan teknologi terhadap kehidupan manusia memang semakin ramai satu dekade belakangan.
