KEAnd the rest is history with this jacket… Almost missed International Day of Women and Girls in Science (my body is exhausted from growing another future girl in STEM at the moment 🤰🏻💖) but didn’t want to let the day pass by without reflecting on how we stand on the shoulders of so many generations of women before us who paved new paths, opened new doors, and dared to dream bigger so that the next generation could question status quo and see themselves represented in new ways.
My career wasn’t an option for women when my mom was a little girl, but my daughters get to grow up considering it normal. And they’ll know that science & space & sparkle & femininity don’t ever have to be mutually exclusive. Onward & upward always 🤍

LIThe biggest lie I’ve heard? ⬇️
“We all have the same 24 hours.”
Or at least… a half truth.
Because we don’t have the same responsibilities.
We don’t have the same pressure.
We don’t wake up to the same realities.
Some people are raising children.
Some are taking care of their families.
Some are working full-time while studying.
Some are fully supported and don’t have to think about rent, bills, or survival.
So no, it’s never just about time. 🤷🏻♀️
It’s about what’s on your shoulders during those 24 hours.
I can’t compare my path to someone else’s.
And no one else can fully compare theirs to mine.
All I can do is show up for the life I have.
4:30am. Saturday morning.
Not luck. Just doing the best I can with what I’ve got.

HEMeet Manishka Dubey – an 11-year-old tech prodigy and founder of Tinker Techie, a platform dedicated to empowering girls through robotics and coding workshops. At just 5, she began exploring technology, driven by a dream to become an astronaut. With the support from her family and school, she started Tinkering with Technology and later on-Tinker Techie with her co-founder Challa Shri Gouri.
Through Tinker Techie, she’s on a mission to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of female innovators. Currently, she’s expanding her reach by increasing the number of free workshops and developing a smart self-tutor device and a safety device.
“Women bring more creativity, problem-solving skills, and a fresh perspective to innovation.” Manishka believes in the transformative impact of women in STEM, leading to more inclusive products and groundbreaking ideas.
Inspired by space exploration and role models like Kalpana Chawla and Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, Manishka is determined to make technology accessible to all. With gratitude towards her family and mentors, she continues to pave the way for young girls in STEM.
