Robert Kiyosaki once said silver could go to ₹7 lakh.
Now he’s saying he may shift from silver to gold.
That doesn’t mean silver is bad, it means the trade is evolving.
Let’s break this down properly.
For years, Robert Kiyosaki has been extremely bullish on silver.
The core reason was valuation.
In Apr'25, the Gold–Silver Ratio was close to 100:1, meaning you needed 100 ounces of silver to buy just 1 ounce of gold.
Historically, that’s an extreme level and usually signals that silver is deeply undervalued.
Fast forward to now.
The ratio has compressed to around 50:1.
This means silver has outperformed gold massively over this cycle.
In simple terms, the easy part of the silver rally has already happened.
Now comes the important nuance.
Kiyosaki is not saying silver will crash.
he might change his positions when the ratio reaches 40:1 or even 30:1, the risk-reward may favour gold instead of silver.
This is how smart money thinks:
• Buy what’s undervalued
• Hold during re-pricing
• Rotate when valuation normalises
At lower ratios, silver becomes relatively expensive compared to gold, even if both assets are still bullish long term.
That’s rotation, not panic.
Now add one more critical factor: volatility.
From mid-February to mid-March, silver prices could see sharp swings.
Why? Because of key COMEX contract dates:
• Feb 24 – Last trade & settlement date
• Feb 27 – First notice date
• Mar 27 – Contract expiration
Historically, these periods bring:
• Heavy speculation
• Position unwinding
• Sudden spikes and drops
This doesn’t decide the long-term trend, but it can shake out weak hands in the short term.
