🤡 First, the “look good, sound smart” crowd. These self-anointed experts opt for smooth, fancy terminology and tech talk to impress students - instead of actually helping them improve.
🤡 Next, the failed strip club artists. The genetic lottery winners who decided golf instruction was their next calling, to the detriment of legit teachers & willing students alike…
🤡 Then the method/model teachers -praising & preaching the techniques of their preferred poster child.
No personalization.
No recognition that each individual is in fact a case study of 1.
One size fits ALL, and it’s “my way/preference/bias, or the highway…”

SOIt’s like a universal law of golf: the stupidest people are always the ones who crash the carts. 🛺⛳ You know the type — the guy who hasn’t broken 120 in his life but thinks he’s Mario Andretti as soon as he gets behind the wheel. Suddenly the fairway becomes Daytona, the cart path is the Autobahn, and you’re just praying he doesn’t mistake the bunker for a parking spot. Every round there’s that one genius who floors it downhill, can’t find the brake, and next thing you know you’re both airborne like it’s Jackass: Country Club Edition. And of course, they always laugh it off like, “Haha, good thing carts are built tough!” No bro… good thing my health insurance is paid up. The best part? They’ll shank three balls out of bounds in a row, but somehow always manage to hit the one perfect shot of the day directly into the side of the cart barn. Honestly, golf carts should come with IQ tests before keys — because if you’re the type who thinks drifting around the green is a power move, you’re not just crashing the cart… you’re crashing my patience. 🤦♂️🍻

JIWelcome to “Her Approach”! A weekly series this summer where we talk about all things women in golf. “Her Approach” is confident, strong, non-judgmental, and best of all: FUN!
Did you know that right now, the number of females golfing is at an all-time high and has increased by 41% since 2019? That’s why The Washington Post wrote an article titled “Women are driving golf’s growth since the pandemic”. And it’s exactly why we are doing this video series! Over one quarter of on-course golfers are women, but there are many who still don’t feel comfortable actually joining a foursome. Let’s change that! Let’s break the intimidation factor and have more confidence walking up to the first tee.
In this weekly series we will:
⛳️ Get lessons from PGA Professionals.
⛳️ Highlight some of the courses associated with GAP.
⛳️ Share stories of other women who play and how it helps them.
⛳️ Get vulnerable about times when people told us we weren’t good enough to play (and how we overcame it).
⛳️ Learn golf etiquette tips.
⛳️ Grow confidence and best of all? Have fun in the process!
