Esta es la misma receta que llevo preparando hace años y que personalmente me gusta más.

LOCHICHARRÓN CON GUACAMOLE 🐷🥑
INGREDIENTES / INGREDIENTES:
🐷 Chicharrón:
▪️2 kg de panceta o tocino de cerdo (cortado en tiras gruesas) / 2 kg of pork belly or bacon (cut into thick strips).
▪️1 Cebolla blanca / 1 onion.
▪️3 Dientes de ajo / 3 cloves of garlic.
▪️ 2 hojas de la laurel / 2 bay leaves.
▪️1 Cda de granos de pimienta / 1 Tbsp of pepper.
▪️1/2 cdita de sal / 1/2 tsp salt.
▪️Aceite para freír / Oil for frying.
🥑 Guacamole:
▪️2 aguacates / 2 avocados.
▪️ 2 tomates (en cubitos) / 2 tomatoes (diced).
▪️2 Jalapeños / 2 jalapeños.
▪️1/2 cebolla morada / 1/2 red onion.
▪️1/4 de taza de cilantro / 1/4 cup cilantro.
▪️Jugo de 1 limón grande / Juice of 1 large lemon.
▪️2 cucharaditas de sal / 2 teaspoons of salt.

TRUCOS DE LA ABUELA 👵🏻♥️
1. Seca bien el chicharrón después de cocinarlo en agua.
2. Hazle unos huequitos a la piel del chicharrón con un tenedor para evitar que estallen.
3. Precaliente el aceite para la primera fritura a fuego medio-bajo.
4. Fríe en lotes pequeños para un mejor control.
5. Cubre la sartén con una malla para frituras mientras fríes. (Las consigues en cualquier tienda de hogar o cocina)

GRANDMA’S TRICKS 👵🏻♥️
1. Dry the pork rinds well after cooking it in water.
2. Make a few holes in the skin of the pork rinds with a fork to prevent them from bursting.
3. Preheat the oil for the first frying over medium-low heat.
4. Fry in small batches for better control.
5. Cover the pan with a frying mesh while frying. (You can get them at any home or kitchen store)

LAeasy homemade guac 🥑 for your taco tuesday!! alright, i’m obsessed with this recipe as is but everyone has different ~guac preferences~ so feel free to adjust & taste as you go! you can’t mess it up, i promise
RECIPE:
-3 avocados, diced
-1 roma tomato, finely diced (about a heaping 1/2 cup)
-3 tbsp chopped cilantro
-1/2 jalapeño, finely diced (with seeds)
-1/3 cup finely diced red onion
-2 tbsp lime juice
-lots of salt!
add avocados to a bowl & mash them with a fork slightly. then add remaining ingredients & stir until combined. enjoy!
