How to get into the HABIT of making: Homemade Snacks that taste amazing on repeat! They can be healthier if you use my recipes and are economical too! 1 Try making 1 snack every week- each week try something new or make a recipe you’ve made before. 2 Keep a list of all your favourite recipes - that way you’ll be more likely to make them again on repeat. 3 Include bake and no bake recipes. Some to go in the oven and some that are no bake and quick to put together if you short on time. 4 Try storing some in the freezer for another day. This way the last longer and don’t disappear in a flash. Also double the recipe of your favourite recipes. 5 And make sure to follow me for heaps of homemade snack recipes and ideas. Puffed Cereal Choc Squares - makes 16 300g milk chocolate, melted @droetkerbakingireland 75g rice krispies 50g puffed quinoa @koro_ie 3 tablespoons milled flaxseed @linwoodshealthfoods Line an 8 inch squared tin with parchment paper. Melt the chocolate- in the microwave or on no 1 setting on the hob use a wide pot. Pour in the Rice Krispies , puffed quinoa and flaxseed, coat in chocolate. Transfer to the tin, push down with the back of a spoon. Set in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Quick, Easy, Tasty - Rice Murukku . This Murukku requires minimum ingredients and effort. Homemade snacks are the best 👍🏻 Don’t you agree? For the Murukku, you will need 1 cup rice flour ( 250 gm cup) 1 tbsp unsalted butter 1/4 tsp salt( adjust) 1/4 tsp jeera( or you can add til/sesame seeds or omam/ajwain seeds, if you like the taste) 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp Water(approx) To a large bowl add flour, salt and butter and mix well. Then add water little by little and make a loose dough. The right consistency is when you are able to shape the murukku without it breaking. If it breaks while shaping, add a few drops of water to the dough and shape again. If it is not holding any shape, then you have added too much water, adjust by adding rice flour. That’s it. I have double fried the murukku for extra crispiness. It is just too good. This batch yields around 30 small murukkus. Note : You can add spice powder if you like the Murukku spicy. Also, you can try the Murukku with Ragi or any millet flour too. Make them soon and I am sure you are going to get lots of compliments from your family. Waiting to hear your feedback❤️. Save this recipe✨ 📌 Potato Wedges Recipe in Air Fryer: 🥔 Ingredients: - 2 med size potatoes - 1 tbsp oil - 1-2 tbsp rice flour - Chopped coriander (Optional) - Spices: 1 tsp peri-peri masala, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp chilli flakes, salt to taste 🥔 Method: - Slice potato into wedges & boil for 5 mins (Missed recording this step!) - In a bowl, mix oil with all the spices. - Add potatoes, rice flour & coriander. Save for later 💕 these are absolutely banging 🙌 Theses are easy homemade snacks for kids and you Honestly, I think I enjoy making snacks more than cooking dinner at this point 😅 What I used: Butter mixed with herbs Cheese Bread Pizza sauce Bake the bread in the oven at 170°C for around 3 minutes add everything and cut the cheese in half and add to each one Pop them back in for another 6 minutes at 170°C until golden and bubbly That’s it. An easy kids snack, great for packed lunches, after school snack
