This works for all kinds of icecream - homemade & store bought☺️
If it’s a good quality ice cream- refrigerate it for an hour, if it’s a lower quality, inexpensive ice cream keep it for half an hour and check the consistency!
Dip the ice cream scoop in warm or hot water- wipe it clean and scoop- you can do this multiple times as required☺️

It’s soooo yum and I’d like to believe also healthy-ish, considering very little sugar and cream is going in. I think I can call this ice cream a nice cream cus its not very unhealthy, thoughts? 😂

Ingredients-
500g mango purée
50g caster sugar
375ml milk
125ml fresh cream
Procedure-
1. Combine all the ingredients together to make the base for the ice cream.
2. Sieve to remove any fruit fibres.
3. Churn the mixture according to your machine instructions. I used the KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment and churned for around 25 minutes.
4. Transfer to a dish and freeze for 4-5 hours.

JOChoc Ice - Recipe Below - these are my salted caramel ice cream bars that are very easy to make and taste literally better than anything from the shops. Give them a whirl over the weekend x JGS

Makes 12
600ml double cream
1 x 397g tin caramel
450g dark chocolate, smashed into little pieces
Sea salt
.
1. Pour the cream and caramel into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and whisk into soft peaks using a hand blender. Line a 20x25cm baking tin and pour in the mixture. Smooth out evenly and pop into the freezer to set overnight.
2. Cut the ice cream into 12 bars. Place onto a lined baking sheet and return to the freezer for 2 hours to firm up.
3. Melt half the chocolate in a shallow bowl over a pan of simmering water or in the microwave – give it 30 second blasts on full, with a stir after each, until melted.
4. One at a time, dunk the ice cream bars into the chocolate. Place onto the grill rack to drain or straight onto baking paper if you don’t have one. Sprinkle with sea salt. Do 2-3 at a time, keeping the rest in the freezer so they don’t melt. When you have used up the melted chocolate, melt the rest and repeat until all the ice cream bars are coated. Freeze another hour and then serve
