The AM Green India Golf Premier League (IGPL) has finally announced all ten franchise squads, and it’s a big step for golf in India. The reveal happened in New Delhi with Yuvraj Singh and IGPL CEO Uttam Singh Mundy leading the event. @yuvisofficial @official.igpl @amgreengroup One of the coolest things about IGPL is its team format. Golf is usually an individual sport, but this league mixes things up by adding a team angle. Yuvraj Singh pointed out that this will make the game more exciting and faster-paced, which should be fun for fans. The league will have 15 events in 2026. Out of these, 10 will be played in India across cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Gurugram, Punjab, Goa, and Visakhapatnam. The remaining 5 events will be international, with places like Mauritius and South Africa already in the mix. Each team has four players, and every event will have both individual and team results. The top two scores from each team count toward the team standings, and points build up across the season.
