IUD memang punya masa efektif 5-10 tahun, tapi boleh dilepas kapan saja kalau ibu sudah siap untuk program hamil.
Kabar baiknya lagi, kesuburan biasanya bisa kembali dengan cepat setelah IUD dilepas. Jadi ketika sudah siap punya momongan, tidak perlu menunggu masa IUD habis dulu.
Setalah IUD lepas sekalian di bersihin sampai dalam ya 😊

_LLet me start by saying — I DO NOT regret removing my IUD at all.
But with that, there obviously comes a lot of changes. I was warned in advance to “be prepared for 6 months of a rollercoaster of emotions”… but to be honest, that didn’t tell me much. The more research I’ve done, the more I’m starting to understand my body & why it’s doing the things it’s doing.
I came into this journey with the mindset “I want to balance my hormones”, but I quite literally had no idea what that meant. I knew almost nothing about the body & which hormones do what… I just knew that my body didn’t feel right & something needed to change.
My days lately have been exhausting. The thought of doing even the simplest daily tasks is draining - I force myself to go for walks when I would much rather lay on the couch & sleep. I have the most brain fog I’ve ever had in my life & can’t focus on anything. I feel so stressed to the point that everything just feels numb. I have mental breakdowns almost every day as I have so many thoughts rushing through my head. & all of this could be due to several factors… but I think a big part of it is high cortisol levels — which I’m working to regulate in hopes it makes a difference (stay tuned) 🤞
I’m not posting this for a pity party or to spread negativity — I’m just being real & honest, because this is truly how I’ve felt the past couple of weeks. It’s a journey I committed to openly sharing & I know I’m not the only one going through it, so here’s to hoping it reaches someone else who can relate 💖

IUD INSERTION at 8 weeks postpartum 🩸 it honestly wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. I was anticipating a really bad pinch but it was more uncomfortable than anything. My face got super flushed from anxiety from hearing others awful experiences 😅 but it was quick and painless! Now 12 hours later I have a bit of spotting but other than that I feel good!
