OKAfter 103 days lost this season, I am sooo excited to finally be cleared to line up tomorrow in my first race of the @parasnowsports season. Better late than never I suppose.
I know I won’t be at my best physically but I’m so ready to see what I can do with what I have now and prove to myself I deserve to still chase that thing that makes me happy despite the results.
Ive lost a lot this year in more ways than just ski racing…… but I haven’t lost my desire to work my way back up to the top.

The way they look at each other - no words, nothing said - but you feel everything in that moment.
The thistle is Scotland's symbol for a reason. It's beautiful but protected, soft petals surrounded by thorns that say "don't touch unless you're willing to get hurt."
It represents duty, protection, resilience - defending what matters while still being something worth fighting for.
The Scots even have a motto for it: "Nemo me impune lacessit" - No one harms me with impunity.
And in that moment, that's exactly what she's handing him. Not just a flower, but Scotland itself.
The idea of William Wallace is born right there - this boy who just lost his father being reminded that there's still beauty worth protecting, still something sacred in the pain.
The love is right there too, planted like a seed that'll grow into everything he becomes.
She sees him. He sees her. And that thistle becomes the bridge between grief and purpose, between a broken boy and the man who'll fight for his country's freedom.
The thistle is honestly one of my favorite flowers - I just love everything it represents and how it ties to this moment.
Sometimes the most powerful moments don't need words. You just feel them.
