After I found out about some of the local gems here, I decided to plan out the perfect day as a traveller. Here’s how I spent one unforgettable day, that I recommend you do too:
📍 Minette Bay: spend a peaceful morning paddleboarding in the calmest waters (morning is the best time to paddle here without or with minimal wind)
📍 Palisades Blue Bus: find them near Kyle’s NoFrills and grab a PB & Chocolate Banana smoothie - no more needs to be said 🤤
📍 Moore’s Creek Falls: this is a quick walk in off of the road, and you can get down to the waterfall too. Care to take a cold dip?
📍 Minette Bay West Park: wrap up your day with a cute picnic near the bay at a picnic table in the sunshine. ☀️
There’s so much more to explore here. Whether you’re driving the Northern Route from Prince Rupert to Jasper, you have to add Kitimat as a destination on your route (~45mins south of Terrace) 💙
