Our current food comes from exploited land and exploited people.
LAND BACK means food sovereignty and dignity.
Our Indigenous food systems are sustainable and local, that’s the future of our health.

While Native Americans have been guaranteed U.S. citizenship by federal law since 1924, recent executive actions have sparked fears regarding their status 😡
A member of the Mescalero Apache tribe was reportedly "pulled out of a store and asked for his passport" during a raid. Also in 2026, members of the Oglala Sioux and Standing Rock Sioux tribes were reportedly detained by ICE in South Dakota and Minnesota respectively.
In January 2026, the Oglala Sioux Tribe banned ICE from its reservation in response to these actions.

the first peoples of this country, are the last to receive citizenship. Step by step, Trump is implementing his ignorant policies toward Native Americans.
American citizens, including citizens of Native tribal nations, have been pulled into the vast immigration operations ordered by President Donald Trump.
Remembering: Hell on Wheels, an American Western television series about the construction of the first transcontinental railroad across the United States. The western portrays the railroad's encroachment on Native lands.
Railroads could "own" Native land through U.S. government land grants and policies that disregarded or broke treaties, ultimately stripping tribes of millions of acres of their ancestral homelands through force, fraud, and legislative measures like the General Allotment Act.
"How can they own our land?" is from the TV series Hell on Wheels, spoken by the character played by Wes Studi, to question the legitimacy of colonial land ownership which was often achieved through force, coercion, or deception rather than legitimate purchase or trade.
