Snakes and spiders mind their business. Birds do not.

Bag on the beach. Phone on a towel. In Australia, it feels safe. Anywhere else? Immediate anxiety.
3. 🦶 You’re no longer surprised by people walking barefoot… and you do it too sometimes.
To the beach, to the shop, across the sand, it just feels normal now.
4. ☕️ You don’t even consider Starbucks as “coffee.”
No local actually goes there for coffee. You walk past it like it doesn’t exist.
5. 🔥 You mastered small talk… and how to end it quickly.
A full small conversation now lasts 10 seconds, and everyone’s happy.
6. 🌅 You wake up early on weekends… voluntarily.
Sunrise walks, swims, gyms, cafés full at 6am.
Overseas, doing this alone feels like the start of a horror movie.
7. 🫶 You say sorry… then say “nah you’re alright” when THEY bump into YOU.
Peak Aussie politeness. It’s in your DNA now.
