Things to keep in mind:
* You don’t need to spend a bunch of money on fancy cleaning tablets. It’s a scam, the denture tabs work exactly the same.
* I do not recommend ever using bleach. It can be tricky to fully rinse out and I find the potential health risks not worth it when there is a simpler option.
* Make sure the cord you choose is thin enough to fit through the tubing with a small knot on the end 😅 mine ended up being too big with the knot.. but for demonstration purposes I went with it.
I like to get a bundle of cotton cord. Cotton is great for sucking up excess water.

So in winter when these species get covered in snow or ice, they don’t actually die. That’s why they stay green too, because they’re not dead. They can lose up to 95-99% of their water content!! In spring when they can get more moisture back from their environment, they can come back to ‘life’!
