Two easy alternatives: 🌿 Wool dryer balls to soften clothes and reduce static 🌿 Reusable vinegar dryer sheets (my go-to) Here’s how to make them: • 1 cup distilled white vinegar • 1 cup water • 10–15 drops of your favorite essential oil Cut up cotton cloths, old t-shirts, or washcloths and store them in a sealed jar with the mixture. I like Costco's Kirkland brand Free & Clear liquid detergent - but there are tons in the market in different forms. 2 THE SECRET INGREDIENT - Add vinegar to the "softener" section of your washer. No, it will not make your clothes smell like vinegar. Vinegar helps to deodorize & soften fabrics. 3 - Dry your clothes normally. Don't add scent yet. 4 - Add a few drops of essential oil to your wool dryer balls and toss them back in the dryer. Run a 10-15 minute no heat cycle to lightly scent your clothes. 5 - For a stronger scent, spritz your clothes lightly with an essential oil Room & Linen spray as they come out of the dryer! #naturallaundry #linerspray #wooldryer balls #springcleaning #maplevalleywa
