Meet U.S. Army Sgt. Caleb England, a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) crewmember with Abel Battery, 3-321 Field Artillery Regiment, 18th Field Artillery Brigade, XVIII Airborne Corps. Sgt. England is a key part of the team that operates the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), a powerful and versatile weapon that can deliver precision-guided rockets at a moment's notice.
Sgt. England walks us through the steps of setting up the HIMARS for a live-fire exercise near Camp Tapa, Estonia. As a 13M crewmember, Sgt. England is part of an elite group of Soldiers who are trained to operate and maintain the MLRS.
So what draws many 13M crewmembers to their job? For Sgt. England, it's the thrill of working with advanced technology and the satisfaction of knowing that his work can make a real difference on the battlefield. "It's a sense of pride and accomplishment," he says. "We're the ones who can deliver firepower and support to our fellow Soldiers, and that's a feeling that's hard to beat."
