MII can dance in public and show my bare shoulders. I post it on the internet and it’s just… normal. I hold my twins and I think about the life I get to give them, a life where love isn’t policed and joy isn’t a crime.
Yet somewhere in Iran there’s a woman my age, a mother like me, who has to calculate every movement: every laugh, every strand of hair, every photo, every moment of celebration.
A woman who lives under a regime like the Islamic Republic can’t live fully. Not because she did anything wrong…
but because the government decided that her body, voice, happiness, and freedom are things to control.
Iranian women (and men) are not asking for “more.” They are asking for BASIC human rights.

GAآیدا حیدری ۲۱ ساله، پنجشنبه ۱۸دی۱۴۰۴ با شلیک مستقیم سرکوبگران جمهوری اسلامی، در اعتراضات میدان صادقیه تهران کشته شد. آیدا ورودی ۴۰۱ پزشکی دانشگاه تهران بود.
دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران در اطلاعیهای «جان باختن مرحومه آیدا حیدری» را بهعنوان دانشجوی این دانشگاه تسلیت گفته است.
رسانههای حکومتی و نزدیک به حاکمیت تلاش کردهاند او را قربانی «اغتشاشگران» یا «عملیات مسلحانه» معرفی کنند و هرگونه نقش نیروهای حکومتی را انکار کنند.
خانواده آیدا در گفتوگوهایشان تأکید کردهاند که او هیچ وابستگی به گروههای سیاسی نداشته، هنردوست و اهل درس بوده و از نسبتدادن او به «گروهکها» و برچسبزنیهای امنیتی بهشدت معترضاند.
