Your hormones fluctuate all throughout the month depending on where you are at on your cycle 🤪and this can affect your appetite, how you feel and your energy levels. This is normal. What is not normal is when PMS or menstruation is negatively impacting your life. Here are 4 natural ways to support your body during PMS + menstruation👇🏻 1️⃣Give yourself a break. This is not the time to push yourself to do high intensity exercise. Instead, powerwalks, yoga, or low intensity cardio are a great choice. The same goes when you have your period. Release the guilt and just let your body chill. 🧘‍♀️ 2️⃣Hydrate your body. Both during PMS and when you get your period, make sure you hydrate, hydrate, hydrate as this will help reduce fluid retention and bloating. Herbal teas and soups are a great choice as well. 🫖 3️⃣Nourish your body. Eat plenty of grounding and nourishing foods such as sea veggies, sweet potato, squash, beets, carrots, flaxseeds, good quality protein and healthy fats. 🥑 4️⃣Herbal Support.
