کپشن مخصوص اهل مطالعه فقط: 📜 تاریخچه‌ی اثر مرکاتور 🔹 «اثر مرکاتور» (Mercator Projection) رو جراردوس مرکاتور، جغرافی‌دان و نقشه‌کش فلاندری (بلژیک امروزی)، در سال ۱۵۶۹ میلادی معرفی کرد. هدف اصلی مرکاتور این بود که دریانوردها بتونن روی نقشه به راحتی مسیرهای مستقیم (خطوط لُکسودورم) رو دنبال کنن. برای همین، نقشه‌اش تحولی بزرگ در عصر اکتشافات دریایی بود. --- ⚖️ مشکل اصلی این نقشه مرکاتور برای اینکه زمین کروی رو روی صفحه صاف نشون بده، خطوط طول و عرض جغرافیایی رو طوری کشید که زاویه‌ها درست بمونن (یعنی «نقشه هم‌زاویه‌ای» یا Conformal Projection باشه). اما این کار باعث شد اندازه‌ی واقعی کشورها و قاره‌ها تغییر کنه: هرچی به قطب‌ها نزدیک‌تر بشیم، کشورها بزرگ‌تر از واقعیت دیده می‌شن. مثلا گرینلند روی نقشه‌ی مرکاتور تقریباً به اندازه‌ی آفریقاست، درحالی‌که آفریقا ۱۴ برابر بزرگ‌تره! 🌍 --- 🌍 اثر روی دید ما از ایران ایران هم به خاطر این خطای نقشه، کوچک‌تر از واقعیت نشون داده می‌شه. ولی در اصل ایران با ۱.۶۴۸.۰۰۰ کیلومتر مربع، در رتبه‌ی ۱۸ جهان قرار داره و از خیلی کشورهایی که بزرگ دیده می‌شن، وسیع‌تره. --- ✨ نتیجه اثر مرکاتور از نظر علمی برای دریانوردی فوق‌العاده بود، اما در دنیای امروز باعث برداشت‌های اشتباه از اندازه و اهمیت جغرافیایی کشورها شده. برای همین امروزه نقشه‌های جدیدتری مثل پترز (Gall–Peters Projection) یا وینکل‌تریپل (Winkel Tripel) پیشنهاد می‌شن که اندازه‌ی کشورها رو واقعی‌تر نشون بدن. --- 📌 منبع‌ها برای اعتبار تاریخی: Snyder, J. توضیحات 👇 🌍 تا حالا فکر کردی چرا بعضی کشورها رو نقشه خیلی بزرگ‌تر یا کوچیک‌تر دیده می‌شن؟ رازش توی چیزی به اسم پَروَنمای مرکاتور (Mercator Projection) پنهونه! 🤯 🧭 زمین یه کره‌ست، اما نقشه صافه! وقتی می‌خوان یه کره رو روی صفحه پهن کنن، مجبورن شکلش رو تغییر بدن — مثل وقتی که می‌خوای پوست پرتقال رو بدون پاره شدن روی میز باز کنی 🍊 📐 توی نقشه‌ی مرکاتور، زمین رو داخل یه استوانه تصور می‌کنن و تصویرش رو روی دیواره اون می‌ندازن. نتیجه؟ زاویه‌ها درسته، ولی اندازه‌ها به هم می‌ریزه! 🌎 نزدیک خط استوا (مثل ایران، هند و برزیل) کشورها کوچیک‌تر از واقعیت دیده می‌شن، اما هرچی به قطب‌ها نزدیک‌تر بشی (مثل روسیه یا گرینلند)، بزرگ‌تر از واقعیت نشون داده می‌شن! 😮 📏 جالبه بدونی: گرینلند روی نقشه اندازه‌ی آفریقاست، ولی در واقعیت، آفریقا ۱۴ برابر بزرگ‌تره! --- 🧠 نقشه‌ی مرکاتور برای جهت‌یابی عالیه، ولی برای دیدن اندازه‌ی واقعی کشورها؟ نه چندان! 😉 #دانستنی #معلومات #اطلاعات #علمی #دانستنیها #نقشه
