This is the exact mathematical equation required to remove Donald Trump from the presidency this November. 📉🇺🇸 To impeach a president, you start in the House of Representatives. The opposition needs 218 votes out of 435. Right now, they have 215. They only need to flip 3 seats to officially impeach him. But impeachment doesn't remove him from power. That happens in the Senate. To legally remove the President, you need a two-thirds supermajority—exactly 67 votes out of 100. Right now, 47 Senators are already against him. That means the opposition needs exactly 20 of Trump's own party members to flip. Historically, convincing 20 Senators to betray their own president is impossible. But the massive "No Kings" protests just changed the equation. The opposition doesn't need to win those 20 Senate seats. They just need to create enough political panic that 20 vulnerable Senators turn against Trump to save their own careers.
