Aside from the $2,300 bill we got from ONE OB/GYN appointment (which is exactly why we switched to a midwife) — here’s the breakdown. ❌❌ my husband and I do not have insurance, but many midwives do accept insurance. 💰 Midwife cost: $6,500 total What’s included is listed at the very beginning of my e-book (it’s too long to post here). Additional costs NOT included: • Anatomy ultrasound: $175 • Raw placenta encapsulation (postpartum): $300 • Certain bloodwork (outsourced — price varies) That said, if a midwife sends you somewhere for labs or imaging, there’s about a 90% chance it will be WAY cheaper than going through a traditional OB. ✅ Payment plans are available. 👉 Comment “OBGYN” and I’ll send you the full free breakdown of what is and is not included.

Your baby signals to your body that it is ready to be born when their lungs are fully developed. Any form of encouraging your body to go into labor early (midwives brew, pitocin, cervical sweeps, nipple stimulation, etc.) can increase your chance of giving birth to a baby that wasn’t quite ready yet. Induction is induction is induction. Unless you or your babies life is at risk, the best thing you can do is let baby be. I promise, they will come when they are ready 🤍 Especially when so many inductions are based off of ultrasound diagnosing which can be highly inaccurate.
