Why Ragi Idli works for women:❤️ • Rich in calcium for bone health • High fibre for gut & hormone balance • Keeps blood sugar steady • Light, nourishing, and energy-boosting ‼️Comment “RAGI” to join our inner circle for women-focused mindful eating recipes Ingredients: • 2 tbsp ghee • 1 tbsp mustard/rai • 1 tbsp chana dal • 1 tbsp urad dal for tempering • 1/2 cup urad dal for batter • 1 tbsp cumin • pinch hing • few curry leaves • 1/2 cup rava coarse • 1/2 cup ragi flour • 1 tsp salt • 1/2 cup curd • 1/2 tsp baking soda Method: - soak the 1/2 cup urad dal for 4 hours . Soak rava for 1 hour . Grind the urad dal till it’s a paste. Put into a bowl and Add the soaked rava . ( do not grind the rava ) - Temper the curry leaves , hing, urad dal , chana dal, jeera, rai in ghee. Add ragi aata and roast for a minute . - add to the idli batter mix. - ⁠Mix with curd and baking soda and salt , let it rest 20 mins. - ⁠Add ghee onto the moulds and then the batter, let it steam for 10-15 mins. - ⁠Soft ragi idlis ready—serve with chutney. Millet Cookies - Want the recipe?⁠ -⁠ I have been making these Eggless Millet cookies for about 7-8 years now! They are made with Jaggery or gur. No refined sugar or flour.⁠ ⁠ The full recipe with measurements and instructions is in the link in the bio.⁠ ⁠ Here is the short recipe⁠ ⁠ Ingredients⁠ 🍪½ Cup Millet Flour⁠ 🍪½ Cup Whole Wheat Flour ⁠ 🍪1 teaspoon Baking Powder⁠ 🍪½ Cup Butter⁠ 🍪½ Cup Jaggery ⁠ 🍪½ teaspoon Vanilla essence⁠ 🍪1 teaspoon Chilled Milk⁠ ⁠ Instructions⁠ 🍪All all the dry ingredients - flours, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl⁠ 🍪Add cold, cubed butter.⁠ 🍪Rub & pinch the butter into the flour mixture.⁠ 🍪Continue doing so till the butter is almost incorporated coarsely into the flour.⁠ 🍪Add vanilla essence and Milk.⁠ 🍪Keep in the freezer for 5 minutes or Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 24 hours.(You can also freeze the dough at this step)⁠ 🍪Preheat the oven at 180 degree C or 365 F. Line the baking tray with parchment paper.⁠ 🍪Use a tablespoon to scoop out balls of dough. Flatten them and place on the cookie sheet.⁠ Keep 1 cm space between each cookie.⁠ 🍪Bake for 10- 12 minutes. High fiber , weightloss friendly Instant Jowar Dosa 📝 Ingredients • 1 cup jowar (sorghum) flour • ½ cup semolina (or rice flour) • ½ cup curd • Salt to taste • Water as needed (medium-thick batter) • ½ tbsp baking soda or Eno 👩‍🍳 Method 1. In a mixer, add jowar flour + semolina + curd + salt. 2. Add water slowly and blend, medium-thick batter. 3. Let it rest for 15 minutes. 4. Just before cooking, add baking soda/Eno and mix gently. 5. Heat a pan, pour batter like uttapam (don’t spread too thin). 6. Drizzle a little oil, cook on medium flame till golden. 7. Flip and cook the other side. 8.
