AU5 Steps for Mixbus Magic: Before you slap a limiter on your masterbus and decide to leave things there, take a look at this mixbus (pre-mastering) chain that has always sounded great on my mixes.It's just a great way to make your mix sound expensive before mastering — tight, warm, glued and clean.
With mixbus processing a little goes a long way, so we're talking subtle boosts/cuts on the EQ, subtle Gain Reduction on the compression and subtle amounts of saturation. But those subtle tweaks on the mixbus = MASSIVE difference in the final sound.
