Moorea (Bora Bora’s sister island) is arguably just as beautiful and MUCH more affordable to visit👇 I’ve found myself visiting this insanely gorgeous island every single year because I love it so much. I’ve been saying this for a while now but Moorea is such an underrated place to visit! Think Kauai vibes…but even better! Imagine green mountains, turquoise ocean water clearer than pool water & tons of sea life. There’s nothing like swimming in Moorea’s waters, seeing humpback whales & turtles, and admiring the combination of the jungle & mountains in the background. Tips on visiting Moorea: ✈️ you will first fly into Tahiti (PPT) airport, direct from LAX or SFO. You can get there on points with Air Tahiti Nui, Air France, United or Delta. On a budget? Look for French Bee from SFO. ⛴️ You can take either the Terevau Ferry or Aremiti Express Ferry to Moorea for much cheaper than flying. You can purchase tickets at the ferry terminal (a $20 USD taxi ride from the Tahiti airport). Things to do: 🌺 Humpback whale observation @pacifik.attitude @mooreamoanatours @mooreaoceanadventures (seasonal August-mid November) 🌺 Hike to Magic Mountain 🌺 Island tour @mooreamititours where you can also make fresh Poisson cru 😋 🌺 Scuba dive & see turtles and sharks! @nemozdivingcentermoorea 🌺 ATV mountain tour @mooreaactivitiescenter 🌺 Jet Ski island tour @mooreaactivitiescenter 🌺 Swim with sharks & stingrays in the lagoon 🌺 Lunch at Snack Mahana 🌺 Try Poisson Cru @hiltonmoorea 🌺 Hike Col des 3 Pinus and see the Ōpūnohu Valley 🌺 Snorkel Temae Beach 🌺 Dinner at @rudysmoorea We stayed at the beautiful @hiltonmoorea again on using Hilton points & it was the perfect home base for all of our adventures!
