🎥 This wasn’t a backpack — it was a passenger. In this video, the pillion rider falls off and rolls on the asphalt, likely due to clutch slip combined with poor coordination. Let’s be clear: Riding with a passenger comes with serious responsibility — and SYSTEM riders treat it that way. Here’s what we emphasize: ✅ The passenger must be fully informed about the ride, geared — helmet, gloves, jacket, pants, boots ✅ The rider must modify their riding style — no harsh acceleration, braking, or abrupt clutch work ✅ Use progressive riding techniques — smooth inputs and predictable control ✅ If helmets bump under braking or throttle — it’s a sign your technique needs work Riding with someone behind you isn’t a flex — it’s a trust. ⚠️ If you can’t protect your passenger, you’re not ready to carry one. Train with SYSTEM. Ride for both lives. #SYSTEMRider #RideWithResponsibility #PillionSafety #ThinkThenRide #MotorcycleAwareness #MotorcycleTraining #RideSmart #motorcycle #motorcycles #motorcycling #motorcyclesafety #ridertraining #newyorkriders #newjerseymotorcycle #ridertraininginstitute

Hour 12 isn’t a milestone, it’s a warning shot. 🛑🏍 From bearing 40lbs of wind force on your neck to “White Finger Syndrome” killing your grip, this is exactly when your body shuts down on a sportbike. 🚨 Perfect Example of Wrong Body Posture + No Vision 🚨 This video shows exactly how poor body posture combined with not looking ahead for sand on road leads to near disaster. ❌ Mistakes made: 1️⃣ Arms must not be straight — forearms should be parallel to the ground. (Here, the rider gave the front end no room to compensate for input.) 2️⃣ Fingers must not rest on the front brake lever unless braking. (The rider panic-braked and nearly crashed.) 3️⃣ The balls of the feet must be on the pegs. (Otherwise, even a small unexpected input can detach your lower body from the bike.) 4️⃣ Position the bike for early hazard vision. (This rider was chasing the apex — correct for track riding, but wrong for road riding.) ✅ SYSTEM riders train posture, control, and vision together — because survival on the road depends on it. #motorcycle #motorcycles #motorcycling #motorcyclelife #motorcyclelove #motorcycleride #motorcycleclub #motorcyclelifestyle #motorcyclelover #motorcyclepassion #motorcyclespirit #motorcycletraining #motorcyclesafety #ridertraining #ridertraininginstitute #systemrider #newyork #newyorkriders #newyorkmotorcycle #newjersey #newjerseymotorcycle #newjerseymotorcycles #crash

What if you can’t use a tourniquet??? Here’s how to stop bleeding by using rolled or compressed gauze for wound packing! Remember you can also pack with hemostatic gauze like QuickClot which is also in the Traumoto Pro kits! Then if you run out or need more material, you can put regular gauze in behind it! After packing a wound, hold for a minimum of 3 minutes to make sure the bleeding has slowed or stopped. In a severe bleed keep pressure for as long as you can or until EMS arrives. Also, if the wound begins bleeding again or isn’t stopping never pull the packing out, keep packing more on top! The goal is the fill the entire wound space and put pressure on the ruptured vessel! And another concern we always hear is about infection! Remember this is trauma, and in trauma nothing is sterile. Infection can always be handled in the hospital with antibiotics later! In a true life or death scenario, prioritize stopping the bleeding at whatever measures necessary, even if it’s not sterile or even super clean. Do you think you could do it if the situation arises? ———————————— #Traumoto #RideReady #StopTheBleed #WoundPacking #BleedingControl #MotorcycleSafety #MotoMed #TraumaCare #TCCC #TraumaTraining #BleedingStopsHere #FirstAidForRiders #LearnToSaveALife #EmergencyPreparedness #RiderSafety #MotorcycleCommunity #BikerPrepared #TwoWheelsSaveLives #TrackDaySafety #TraumaResponse #LifeSavingSkills #MotorcycleLife #MotoAwareness #TacticalMedicine #BikerLife

Let me know in the comments if this works for anyone 😅 When it comes to safety and perceived risk, people rely more on emotion than rationality. That's why it's really difficult to change someone's mind with facts and concrete plans. You'll hear things like: "my uncle’s cousin’s friend got into a wreck" or "its not you I worry about - it's the other drivers." Don't lead with logic. Statistics won't do much to sway someone's emotions. The key is to listen first. Let them feel heard and validate their feelings. At the end of the day they’re resistant because they like having you alive. But, it's also important to find out how they’ll work through their anxieties while letting you pursue things that matter to you. Once you find common ground, then bring up your plan—safety gear, training, defensive riding, all the steps you’ll take to mitigate risk. So don’t fight emotion with logic. Acknowledge, validate, and prove you care about the same thing they do: keeping you safe. #motolife #motorcyclesafety #safetyfirst #ducati

Ever wondered what makes the Traumoto PRO different from a regular first aid kit? A standard kit won’t have battlefield-tested, TCCC-certified gear from the most trusted medical brands in the world. We built the Traumoto PRO using our own medical experience and feedback from the riding community. Over the years, I've seen many motorcycle accidents come through the Emergency Room. One of the most common injuries is to the rider's hands. During a crash, our natural instinct is to extend our hand to brace our fall. If you aren't wearing proper hand protection, this can set you up for some serious injuries. I always look for gloves with a palm slider - a small plastic insert on the outer palm. If you wear gloves without a palm slider, your hand will make contact with the ground and stick, transmitting all the force into your wrist at once. A palm slider allows your hand to slide, extending the force over a longer distance. If you have a choice, look for gloves that come with a palm slider. @alpinestars - Want to collaborate with a motorcycle-riding doctor to showcase more of your safety features? #motorcyclesafety #gloves #alpinestars #ducati #panigale #motolifestyle

DON’T TAKE IT OFF!! In a recent reel, we found that nearly 80% of people commenting didn’t know when it’s okay to take off a motorcycle helmet after an accident. Only in TWO scenarios should a motorcycle helmet ever come off after an accident: 1. Is the rider is choking, aspirating, or unable to clear the airway due to the helmet blocking secretions, vomit, or blood from exiting. 2. CPR needs to begin immediately and rescue breaths need to be given. Obviously there may be VERY rare cases where the helmet is causing more danger than good after a motorcycle accident that don’t apply to the main two points. (Helmet is caught on something, pulling on the riders neck, etc.) However, in most cases the helmet should NEVER come off until the help of medical professionals arrive! Do you know why? —————————————— #Traumoto #TraumotoKit #RideReady #MotorcycleTraumaCare #MotorcycleFirstAid #BleedingControl #StopTheBleed #HelmetRemoval #SafeHelmetRemoval #MotorcycleSafety #MotoMed #TraumaTraining #BikerSafety #RideSafe #TwoWheelsOneLife #MotorcyclePreparedness #FirstResponderBiker #MotorcycleAccidentPrep #CrashKit #EmergencyTraumaKit #MotorcyclingSafety #BikerFirstAid #HelmetSafety #HeadInjuryPrevention #motorcyclehelmet

Dropping a heavy ADV bike is part of riding. Injuring yourself while picking it up doesn’t have to be. This is a safe, repeatable method to lift a fully loaded adventure motorcycle — even when you’re riding solo. No brute strength. No hero moves. Just technique that works in the real world. Save this. Practise it.
