Positive • Builds chest, shoulders, triceps • Strengthens core & stabilizers • Improves posture and endurance • No equipment — anywhere workout • Helps overall upper-body strength Negative • Wrist/shoulder pain if form is wrong • Muscle imbalance if you skip back exercises • Plateaus if you never change difficulty • Overuse soreness if done too often ⸻ Best Sets & Reps • Beginners: 3 sets × 10–12 • Muscle gain: 4 sets × 12–20 • Strength: 5 sets × 6–10 (harder variations) Rest 45–75 sec between sets. Take 1 rest day per week. ⸻ Correct Form (Simple) • Hands under shoulders, body in straight line • Core tight, glutes squeezed • Lower chest to just above floor • Elbows ~45° from body • Push up without sagging or arching • Breathe in down, out up 👉 Avoid: flared elbows, hips dropping, bouncing, rushing reps.
