A dazzling evening at the @nbaf Fine Art & Fashion event at the Atlanta History Center, an unforgettable celebration of Black creativity, culture, and community! As a Commissioner for Fulton County’s District 4, it was my honor to bring greetings on behalf of Chairman Robb Pitts and the entire Board of Commissioners. NBAF was founded by Fulton County nearly four decades ago, and it continues to shine as a national beacon for Black artistic excellence. I was especially proud to attend with my daughter, Janie Ivory, and connect with so many friends and supporters of the arts — a cause close to my heart both professionally and as a public servant. I’ll always advocate for NBAF and the arts across Fulton County. Our board works hard to support the organization’s mission to expose, educate, engage and entertain artists of African decent. 35 years strong and we’re just getting started.
