These slithering sleeper agents will lead scientists back to breeding females who can lay up to 100 eggs in a single breeding season.

Terrestrial invasive species like eastern red cedars pose a significant threat to the health of our grasslands. When left unmanaged, these species quickly take over ecosystems and prevent the growth of native plants.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is working to stop the spread of eastern red cedars through proactive measures like mechanical cutting and prescribed fire. While these efforts help reduce the spread, we still need your help.
