안녕하세요, 저는 NLCS 제주에 재학 중인 9학년 옐레나입니다.
오늘 (첫)수업에서는 다양한 재료를 겹겹이 활용해 그림에 깊이와 생동감을 표현하는 방법을 배웠습니다. 먼저 연필로 거친 스케치를 하며 기본적인 구조와 각도를 잡았고, 그 위에 목탄을 사용해 빛과 그림자의 느낌을 쌓아 올렸습니다. 이후 콩테로 명암의 대비를 더욱 강조하고, 파스텔을 활용해 화면에 선명함과 생동감, 사실감을 더했습니다. 마지막으로 다시 콩테를 사용해 어두운 부분을 정리하며 작품을 완성했습니다.
Hi, I am Yelena, 9th grade student in NLCS jeju. Today, I learned how to build depth and vitality in my drawing by the layered use of different materials.I began through rough sketch using a pencil, establishing basic the structure and the angle. I used charcoal to build the sense of light and shadow, and applied conte to emphasize the contrast. The use of pastel added clarity, vitality, and realism.Finally, I completed my drawing with conte again to reveal darker parts.

I do almost MORE now that I’m injured. I’ve gotten to know some amazing people, some injured and some not. I’ve gone to beautiful places, and done some amazing things. All from this chair!
It just takes ONCE. Try something once. You may fail, but you also may not. Either way, you are learning about yourself. Each day, do something you don’t think you can. At the end of the year, look back at all you did.
