P_I’ve been the therapist who doesn’t feel like they know enough
Who spent hours after work scrolling, saving treatment idea videos, convincing myself I just needed one more idea before I’d feel ready
I wasn’t lazy. I wasn’t a bad clinician. I just didn’t have the why behind my treatment — and without it, I was constantly starting from scratch.
The moment I stopped chasing techniques and started understanding the reasoning behind them, everything shifted. I could adapt on the fly. Modify mid-session. Walk in with less anxiety and more confidence.
Nobody tells you that in school. And you shouldn’t have to figure it out alone.
That’s why I’m here — to give you the clinical reasoning framework I wish I had, so you can spend less time drowning in your notes and more time actually showing up for your patients. 🧠✨

OTWhat’s your ➡️ fav ⬅️ part about working in a SNF as an OT practitioner?
🥴 Many times we focus on the negativity - let’s be honest, it is the easiest thing to talk about - terrible productivity expectations, lack of carry over or even not enough staff to help the residents. No doubt it presents with some unique challenges.
You also need to be prepared to work with a wide variety of patients, each with their own unique needs, abilities and complex medical presentations. You also need to be able to adjust your approach to meet the needs of each individual patient.
You need to be flexible with your schedule, as the needs of the patients can change quickly and require you to go with the flow and you need to be able to work as part of a team, as the success of your treatment plans will depend on the collaboration of all members of the healthcare team.
Despite the challenges, it can be incredibly 💗 rewarding and provide you with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of your patients.
