Quebec City is one of my favorite cities in North America. ❤️ I truly feel like I am in France without having to embark on a seven hour plane ride, which for a fearful flyer like me is amazing! I think Quebec City is perfect for a traveler who wants a lowkey weeekend escape. I felt super safe when exploring here. I loved popping in and out of art galleries, eating all of the exquisite food, and taking pictures of the streets. 🎨🍲🏘️ Speaking of which, the street performers here are out of this world good!🤹‍♀️ Is Quebec City on your bucket list? #quebecity #quebec #quebec_travelers #quebecoriginal #quebecregion #quebeccanada #quebeccite #québec #canadasworld #canadatravel #canadalife #canadagram #explorecanada #canadalove #canadalife🇨🇦 #canadaguide #canada_gram #enjoycanada #quebeclife #explorequebec #womenwhoexplore #womenwhotravel #womenwhotravelsolo #bonjourquebec #oldquebec #oldquebeccity #travelcanada

🛷✨ A must-do winter ride in Québec City — the legendary Au 1884 Toboggan! ❄️ Feel the rush as you slide down the historic Toboggan at Dufferin Terrace, right under the glowing Château Frontenac lights. Girl’s Guide to Quebec City 🇨🇦🏰🛷❄️ The charming cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and European feel make Old Quebec a must-visit! It’s a historical destination that blends French culture with Canadian charm. Whether you’re exploring the historic sites, enjoying local cuisine, or shopping in boutiques, there’s something for every traveler. Here’s your ultimate guide to the city. ♥️ Rue du Petit-Champlain: The most European neighborhood of Quebec City. You’ll feel like you’re strolling through Europe along the cobblestoned streets lined with boutiques, art galleries, and cozy cafés. Le Petit dep is the perfect place to warm up with a coffee and croissant. 🛷 Toboggan Slide on Dufferin Boardwalk: This historic landmark, dating back to 1884, offers a thrilling ride and is a must-do activity in Quebec City. 🏰 Château Frontenac: A must-see directly next to the slide. This iconic hotel looks like a castle and has spectacular views of the city and St. Lawrence River. Come here for tea! 🛍️ Place Royale: This historic square has quaint shops, cafes, and galleries. It’s perfect to walk around, souvenir shop, and see the Quebec City mural. The Christmas tree standing tall in the month of March was my personal favorite touch. During the winter months Quebec stays festive with twinkly lights and makes the city feel so magical! ⛸️ Go ice skating at Place d’Youville 🎣 Old Port: A historical area that once served as a major shipping port, it’s now home to museums, galleries, and restaurants. 🧊Hôtel de Glace: The only ice hotel in North America open every winter. It’s an architectural marvel entirely of snow and ice. 🧖‍♀️ Strøm Spa Nordique: This Scandinavian-inspired spa offers outdoor hot tubs, saunas, and massage treatments with stunning views of the river. 🍷🍽️ @lebedeauresto @restolehobbit @chezboulay 🏨Stay at luxury hotels @le.capitole.hotel & @chateaulaurierqc both hotels are in located in Old Quebec. Whether you’re exploring the charming city or enjoying rest & relaxation, both hotels provide a perfect base for an unforgettable stay!

A 2-DAY ITINERARY IN QUEBEC CITY! 🇨🇦✨ 📌📌 Save this post if you’re planning a trip to Quebec City, especially if it’s your first time exploring this iconic destination in Canada. HOW TO GET THERE: You can fly directly into Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) or drive from Montreal in about 3 hours. STAY: 🏨 Le Capitole Hôtel - A chic boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Quebec City, perfectly located for visiting Old Quebec and beyond. DO: Day 1 Start in Old Quebec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with European charm. Walk along Dufferin Terrace for views of Château Frontenac, explore Place Royale, climb the Breakneck Stairs, take a photo at Montmorency Park, stroll the Plains of Abraham, and don’t miss the colorful umbrella alley on Rue du Cul de Sac. 🌙 For a unique nighttime activity, head to Onhwa’ Lumina, an immersive night walk through a forest that tells the story of Huron-Wendat culture through lights and storytelling. Day 2 Explore beyond the old town. Start your day at Montmorency Falls. It’s taller than Niagara Falls. My tip: take the cable car up to the top and use the stairs to come back down (yes, I’m team lazy). Then head to Canyon Sainte-Anne, where you can cross three suspension bridges over a stunning canyon and roaring waterfall. Add the hike to Jean-Larose Falls if you’re up for more nature and don’t mind extra stairs. 🍽️ For dinner, check out La Bûche for comforting, authentic Québécois cuisine. 💡 TIP: If you have extra time, take a short drive to Île d’Orléans. This nearby island is known for its scenic drives, farm stands, local cider, and laid-back countryside vibes, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. #QuebecCity #ExploreCanada #OldQuebec #Quebec #TravelTips #ThingsToDoInQuebecCity #CanadaTravelGuide #ExploreQuebec #ChateauFrontenac #CanadaTravel #QuebecCityItinerary
