A former Marion County high school dean pleaded no contest on Friday to multiple sexual offense charges involving students in 2024, court documents show. Gregory Ramputi was a dean at Vanguard High School. The misconduct occurred on and off the school campus for several years, according to police reports. He pleaded no contest to: 3 counts of authority figure soliciting sexual conduct 1 count sexual battery on person in familial custody 1 count of lewd and lascivious conduct 4 counts of sexual activity with a juvenile 2 counts of indecent L&L touching of victim 16-17 3 counts of traveling to meet minor for illegal sexual conduct He was sentenced to 15 years in prison. A senior student at the school reported to Ocala police that Ramputi had inappropriate contact with her and other students multiple times during her high school years, according to police. Officers said another four student victims made similar reports, claiming that Ramputi made inappropriate requests and comments. Multiple reports were also made that stated Ramputi touched students inappropriately and engaged in sexual acts with one of the victims, officers said. Ocala officials said Ramputi asked to see nude photos of a student, which he allegedly viewed. ======= 15 years for what he did is fucking ridiculous! Smith has an extensive history of sexually abusing children in at least two other states and has used multiple names, such as Brett Zagorac and BJ McAuliffe. An Ascension Parish Public Schools spokesperson told WBRZ on Wednesday that the photo was taken in November and that they are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. “Due to personnel and student privacy laws, details related to the investigation and any disciplinary actions are confidential,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “However, we can confirm that Ascension Public Schools no longer employs those involved in this matter.” A woman who said she was the child’s mother said that a teacher named “Coach Patrick” put her autistic son inside the cabinet. A spokesperson said that a teacher by the name of Patrick Mahoney, Jr. is not employed by APSB.
