Do you know why pigment fades in the skin over time?
When pigment is implanted into the skin, the body recognizes it as a foreign particle.
Cells of the immune system gradually absorb and partially remove pigment particles from the body.
That is why:
• permanent makeup fades over time
• a touch-up session is needed
• the result is not permanent forever.
This is a natural process that occurs in the skin after the procedure.
The most important factors are proper technique, correct pigment depth, and high-quality pigments.

COLet’s Talk ‘Overactive brow muscles’ and why this is a very common complication during an eyebrow procedure!!
When we close our eyes our facial muscles relax and appear more even, however when we open our eyes and start using our facial muscles to make expressions you will notice that we all move and some muscles are clearly more overactive than others.
When designing the brow shape it’s important to get your client to keep their eyes closed and be as still as possible so that you can position them in their most natural place, then once the client opens their eyes you can tweak and manipulate the shape to even them out a little, but bare in mind you will never be able to get them 100% symmetrical, it’s impossible.
I think what Iv learnt over the years is how to manage clients expectations. I am very open and honest with my clients about what’s achievable from the off and I explain to them before I start if I see they have an overactive eyebrow muscle so they are aware of it.
PMU isn’t easy but this is the part I actually love about my job! The challenge , the precision and balancing asymmetries 🖤🫶🏻

BRAfter this post went viral, I saw many comments saying that I “ruined” my client.
I want to make something very clear: I have never had any intention of harming anyone, and I never would. I respect every client’s right to choose what they want, and I never perform any service without the client’s full agreement beforehand.
Everything is discussed before I begin. I always ask my clients clearly if this is the exact style and size they want before I proceed.
Eyeliner tattoo is one of the most delicate and difficult areas to work on. The eyelid is very different from other areas of the face and requires precision, patience, and careful design.
This client actually had this service done with me over a year ago. Over time the pigment faded, which is normal, so she came back for a touch-up because she wanted the same look refreshed and darker again.
And that alone should answer many assumptions: if she truly did not like my work, why would she come back to me again for a touch-up?
I run my business honestly and transparently. I only provide services that I am trained to do, and I do not hide anything. I regularly share before and after results so people can see the real process and real outcomes of my work.

BECorrection work in PMU can be complex, and every case is different.
In many situations, laser tattoo removal is the best option for unwanted pigment. However, not every client wants laser removal, and some prefer a softer corrective approach.
When performed correctly, skin-tone camouflage can help soften or neutralize unwanted pigment, making it far less visible while it gradually fades over time with natural skin turnover.
This technique must be done very superficially with proper pigment matching and experience, otherwise the results can be unpredictable.
It’s important to understand that this is not a replacement for laser removal, but in selected cases it can be a helpful corrective option.
