MOODY FAMILY CHILDREN’S MUSEUM 📍 PEROT MUSEUM, 2201 N FIELD ST, DALLAS 🗓️ M-SAT 10A-5P / SUN 11A-5P #️⃣ TODDLERS - GRADE SCHOOL 💰 $15 YOUTH 2-12 / $25 ADULT 13+ / UNDER 2 FREE // PARKING $15 ⭐️ The new & improved Moody Family Children’s Museum at Perot Museum is now open! It’s almost unrecognizable if you are familiar with the previous museum. There is SO much more to do! ⭐️ There are age-appropriate areas with signs indicating ages for the activity. Some are for 0-3, some 5+, etc. ⭐️ Strollers are allowed, and they do have stroller parking, but be warned the elevator situation at the museum can be dreadful. Take a lightweight stroller you can carry if you’re able! ⭐️ There’s a membership for $100 that makes sense to purchase if you think you’ll go more than once to the museum. Members have $5 parking vs $15, too. ⭐️ There is a nursing room right by the children’s area. They also have those new changing tables that self-sanitize! ⭐️ Cool off outside of the entrance with the water feature and frog statues 🐸

A NEW INTERACTIVE SOCCER EXHIBIT IS OFFICIALLY OPEN AT THE PEROT MUSEUM! ⚽ Just in time for all the World Cup excitement coming to North Texas, the @PerotMuseum is launching a brand new exhibition: Soccer: More Than a Game. The 10,000-square-foot experience dives into the science behind the world’s most popular sport, exploring how physics, biology, technology, and teamwork all play a role in what happens on the field. Comment ⚽ for tickets! STEP INTO THE GAME The experience starts with a locker room and an entrance tunnel, where you can walk onto the “pitch” like a pro before exploring the exhibit. From there, move through 20 interactive zones where you can test your reflexes, measure kicking power, and explore how the brain and body work together during play. You’ll also be able to design jerseys, build a stadium, create a team mascot, and take on physical and digital challenges throughout the experience. THE SCIENCE BEHIND SOCCER The exhibit also explores the innovation happening behind the scenes of the sport… from biomechanics and performance data to the materials used in gear and equipment. A NORTH AMERICAN COLLABORATION The exhibit is also a part of a collaboration with @MuseoMIDE in Mexico City. While the Perot explores the science behind the game, MIDE will debut a companion exhibit called Pasa el Balón, focused on soccer’s cultural and economic impact across North America. BONUS: WORLD CUP CONNECTIONS The museum is also highlighting soccer through other exhibits and events, including Minerals of the World Cup in the Gems and Minerals Hall, featuring minerals from host and competing countries. 🌟 Immersive Bug Exhibit in Dallas at @perotmuseum 🌟 📍 2201 N Field St, Dallas, TX 75201 Why we loved it: ❤️ The Perot Museum has an insanely cool bug exhibit and we’ve never seen anything like it! ❤️ Explore immersive bug chambers that recreate detailed insect environments. Our favorite was the beehive where we had to defeat a hornet! ❤️ There are hands-on activities throughout! You can create an origami butterfly and send it flying in a wind machine, give a wasp brain surgery, and so much more. ❤️ This exhibit has activities geared toward a variety of ages, so the whole family will enjoy it! Good to know: - This exhibit is only available for a limited time! It ends January 4, 2026. - Note that this exhibit might be slightly scary for little ones! My 4 & 6 year olds were a little uneasy at first but warmed up after several minutes. They ended up loving it! - Tickets for this exhibition must be purchased in addition to general admission to The Perot! Exhibition tix are $10 for adults, $8 for kids ages 2-12, children under 2 are free. - Perot Museum hours are 11am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 11am-5pm Sunday.

I actually enjoyed this event a whole lot, so I decided to make a reel about it. I know. It’s almost the end of the week and you wanna bum around. But this event is honestly so informational and worth visiting. Usually the Perot Museum closes at 5 pm but on Thursday, they extended their hours from 6-10 just for this event. 📍 $25 for Non-Members ($5 for Members) #dallas #museum #dfw #perot #dallastx
