You are not using excel to its fullest potential!!! I just tested the agent mode inside @microsoft365 excel and asked it to build a personal finance tracker from scratch… (Income tracking, expense categories, dropdowns, charts, dashboards, etc) First version took about 5 minutes!!! What’s cool is you can keep improving it and adding on.Maybe you want better dashboards, new charts, etc etc. We’re in an era where tools like this make it easier than ever to build things yourself. You don’t have to know every formula. You just need to know how to use the tools available to you!!! If you want the prompt I used, comment EXCEL and I’ll share it! Also comment if there are features you want me to add to this dashboard. Let’s keep building it together 😗😗 #excel #exceltips #personalfinancetips #productivitytools #corporategirl

CLASS IS on MONDAY! Claim your spot @ www.investforindependence.com or the Link in my BI0! This video went super viral on the clock app 😉 2.5M views, 250K likes, & 6100+ comments. So clearly it hit a nerve! Have I had bad experiences with employers? Hell yeah. I've had 3 professional jobs from 2001-2021 (one before law school & two as an attorney) & all 3 had massive toxic traits. But I don't base this video on that experience. I base it on 14 years of experience as an employment attorney where I represented employees & studied countless cases. I've lost count of how many case holdings I've read. These records are all public & anyone can access them. You can google it. In addition to public records, I also saw all the confidential agreements & arbitrations of the cases I worked on which are not public & I cannot discuss. Many people think I was only speaking from personal experience when in fact, this is the nature of most workplaces in America. Are there exceptions? Of course there are. Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with my sentiments, I hope you take away the lesson that we should all be building an FU Fund. I first heard this term from JL Collins, the author of a Simple Path to Wealth. Why? Because financial independence is something we should all strive for to help build security & stability in good times & especially in bad times. If the last 2 years hasn't taught us that I don't know what will. I wouldn't bank on an employer's good graces as my safety net. That doesn't mean you can't be friendly at work. Of course you can & you should! But not every colleague deserves your trust & the details about your private life. Use your judgement & be really picky about who you confide in. DO NOT ever think that HR is your friend. They’re there to represent the company, PERIOD. Many HR managers agreed in the comments of this video so keep that in mind. FU Fund means saying FU to anything or anyone that steals your peace & all it takes is one new manager or coworker to ruin a perfectly fine work environment. Don’t ever get so comfortable you forget to CYA because I GUARANTEE you your boss & your company is doing just that.

This is why I hope everyone can begin investing earlier if possible 🙏 I haven’t really been talking about stocks/ETFs/index funds as much but I actually have a large portion of my net worth in them (as well as real estate). Because of compound interest, you can significantly increase your net worth through investing. Compound interest is basically the interest you earn on both your original deposit & on the interest your money earns - you’ll start seeing an exponential curve over time with your 💰! By investing in index funds and ETFs you can reduce risk vs investing in individual stocks. They allow for a diversified portfolio because it gives you a spread of hundreds of the country’s largest companies. They are also both passively managed. And yes there can be short term dips in the stock market but make sure to look at the market averages! Invest in solid long term ETFs and index funds that you don’t plan on selling for a long period of time 🙌 This video is mainly to illustrate the power of investing and compounding. I put a 10% return as for example, from 1970 to 2019 the average return of SPY is about 10.38%. 10% is not guaranteed, but even getting a 6-7% would be amazing compounded. Also make sure to do your research and analysis on your investments as well! #notfinancialadvice #investortips #investing #personalfinance #compoundinterest #passiveincome #personalfinancetips #inflation #stocks #stocktok #investingstrategy

I know there has been a lot of talk about a looming recession, which is scary to think about, especially with all the conflicting news headlines. Some economists don't see a global recession happening any time soon. Other top experts say there is a 50-50 chance of a recession. Some say a mild recession will come in 2024. The truth is no one knows, which can produce much uncertainty. A recession is technically defined as TWO consecutive quarters of declining gross domestic product or GDP, and we won't really know for sure until the numbers are in for July. No matter what happens, remember, any changes you have to make to your finances right now, whether that's having to pause a financial goal or decreasing spending somewhere in your budget, it's temporary.  If you are investing, keep at it! Now is a good time due to low market prices, which means you have the opportunity to buy more and see greater growth when the market goes back up. If you need to cut back your contributions because of rising expenses, at least try to contribute enough to max out your employer's matching contributions. How to prepare: Revisit your budget and spending Pay off high-interest debt Reprioritize your financial goals Stay the course with investing Stay calm and don't make financial decisions that are controlled by your emotions Boost your emergency savings if you can. Economic downturn or not, all of these action steps will help you succeed with your finances. What steps are you taking to prepare? #personalfinanceforwomen #recessionproof #recession #budgetgoals #thebudgetmom #budgeting101 #budgettips #budgetlife #personalfinancetips #personalfinance #moneymoves #moneygoals

They told you to just pay it off… but they didn’t explain how it could still stay on your credit. That’s one of the biggest misunderstandings about collections. Paying an account doesn’t automatically mean it’s removed. How it’s reported, updated, and reviewed matters—and most people are never taught this part. There are legal, compliant processes that may apply depending on the account details and reporting history. Education is what helps people understand their options and avoid costly mistakes. If you’re ready to learn how credit education and guided support can help you better understand collections and your next steps, let’s talk. 📩 DM “READY” if you’re ready to understand your credit 🎥 Credit: @roselstephene #AmericaCreditCare #CreditEducation #CreditAwareness #FinancialLiteracy #PersonalFinanceTips #MoneyEducation
