FAQ#20 How do they know you planted them and not just tossed them? Do they go check every one? A certain amount of trees is allocated for a certain piece of land that they give you. For example, they can give me a 2 hectare land at 2500/hectare, so if I finish the land with something not close to 5000 trees, something won’t add up. As for tossing them, it would take as much if not more energy to plant them, so no reason to do such a thing. For checking, they take multiple random samples through you land, and are able to not only verify the quality of my trees, but calculate an approximate density for the entire land. If the latter is not respected, I’ll have to go back and correct them, which I won’t be paid for. I’ve definitely come a long way since then. It’s crazy to think about it:) I’m gonna keep planting and see how many trees I can plant.
