So I’m always banging on about line brushing… the correct technique to brush any poodle mix at home between pro grooming sessions. This is ESSENTIAL!!!
If a dog isn’t brushed regularly, thoroughly and properly, the coat can tangle, knot and potentially become quite uncomfortable.
In line with the animal welfare act, if a dogs coat is knotted, it has to be clipped short. It’s the best/only option. Then it can regrow with correct home maintenance.
So the tools needed to avoid this are a slicker brush + comb… you can now buy these together!!!!! Mikki have launched their “doodle grooming kit” which gives owners the 2 main tools needed to brush their poodle mix, (and many other breeds prone to knotting) at home!!!
