One pot Bachelors chicken biryani 🥘 Easy one pot chicken pulav that tastes exactly like a biryani. It’s super easy to make and will satisfy all your biryani cravings Not the traditional way to make biryani but it’s so good just hits the spot. As an adult living along we need quick recipes that taste absolutely amazing and this is one of those. Recipe Ingredients Marinate 500 g chicken 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons yoghurt, 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder Half teaspoon turmeric 1 teaspoon biryani masala Biryani 4 green cardamom ( elaichi) 1 black cardamom ( badi elaichi) 1 inch cinnamon ( dalachini) 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp cumin ( jeera) 2 tbsp oil 4 onions ( 2 chopped, 2 fried ) One tomato 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste 3-4 green chillies Dry masala 2 tsp biryani masala 1 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1/4 tsp turmeric 1.5 cup rice Water ( use less than double the quantity of rice) Handful of chopped corriander & mint leaves Fried onion / birista 1 tbsp ghee Method: 1. Wash and soak basmati rice of 30 mins . In the meanwhile we will fry onions and prep other ingredients 2. Marinate chicken and set it aside. 3. In a pot or pan add some oil or ghee and add the whole spices followed by onion. Sauté till it’s translucent and add ginger powder paste and green chillies. 4. Add the marinated chicken and sauté it for 5-6 mins. Add chopped tomatoes. Followed by the dry spices like biryani masala , chilli powder, corriander powder. 5. Now we will add the soaked rice along with water which should be less than douof its quantity. I’ve used 1 cup rice and 1 cup plus 3/4 cup water. 6. Also add some handful of chopped mint leaves and corriander leaves , along with fried onion. 7. Cover and cook it for 10 mins exact on low flame. Then switch off the gas and let it rest for 15 mins. Do not open the lid for 15 mins, it will cook on its own steam. 8. Very Easy One Pot Mutton Biryani 🤗 with Homemade Biryani masala✨✨ #save this #recipe Recipe Basmati rice - 3 cups Rinse and Soak it for 20 mins Biryani masala Cloves - 5 nos Cinnamon - 2 sticks (1 inch each) Cardamom - 4 nos Starannise - 1 nos Marathi moggu - 2 nos Mace - a small piece Stone flower - few Coriander seeds - 1 tsp Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Pepper - 1-2 tsp Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp Grind Garlic - 15 cloves Ginger - 2 inch piece Green chilies - 6 nos Dried red chilies - 3 nos Marinate Mutton - 1 kg Tender cuts (like leg pieces, small cubes) Fried onion - 1 cup Tomatoes - 2 small sized Ground GG paste Ground biryani masala powder Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Yogurt / curd - 1/2 cup Kashmiri chili powder - 1 tsp Salt - 2 tsp Coriander leaves - handful (chopped) Mint leaves - handful Ghee - 1 tbsp (not melted) Peanut oil - 3 tbsp Mix well, squeezing the meat thoroughly, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes Cook the marinated meat in medium heat on stovetop Tender cuts: 45–60 mins Bony/tough cuts: 1–1.5 hrs In pressure cooker On medium heat: 2 to 3 whistles Once the meat is tender / cooked Add hot water - 5 cups Bring it to boil Add the soaked rice Cook over high heat until approximately three-fourths of the liquid has evaporated Melted ghee - 1 tbsp Juice of 1/2 lemon Give it a mix Bay leaves - 2 nos Cover and cook (dum) for 15 mins on low heat (simmer) Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 to 10 mins before breaking the dum Enjoy it any raita of your choice 🤗 Follow for more such easy recipes ✨ Have courage and be kind ✨🫶 . . . . . Diya’s One-Hour Chicken Biryani - Serves 4 Ingredients - 1 ⅓ lb (600 g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, diced - 1 cup (200 g) basmati rice, well washed - 2 Tbsp + 1 tsp (35 ml) ghee or vegetable oil - 2 bay leaves, 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 cardamom pods, 4 cloves - 2 red onions, thinly sliced; 2 tomatoes, chopped - 1 tsp (5 g) ginger paste; 1 tsp (5 g) garlic paste - 1 ½ tsp (4 g) coriander, 1 tsp (3 g) turmeric, 1 tsp (2 g) cayenne, 1 tsp (3 g) garam masala - ½ tsp (1 g) cumin seeds (or ground), ½ tsp (1 g) black pepper, salt to taste - 3 Tbsp (45 ml) coconut milk, 1 ¼ cups (270 ml) chicken broth - Top with: cilantro, mint, lime, Greek yogurt Cookware note Lightweight aluminum,Always Pan 2.0: recipe works as written Stainless steel: increase oven time to 45-50 mins Cast iron/Dutch oven: Bring to a gentle simmer on the stove before oven, or increase oven temperature to 355–375 °F (180–190 °C) Ceramic/stoneware dish: Cover with foil, leave a small gap for steam to escape Method Soak rice: Rinse well, then soak in cold water for min. 20 mins, preheat oven 320°F (160°C) Bloom spices: Heat 1 tsp oil; fry bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves 5 sec; set aside Chicken masala – 10 min: Heat 2 Tbsp oil; fry onions 3 min. Chicken Dum Biryani (Tangy Smoked One-Pot) Dhungar + Imli twist 🤤🔥 📝 Ingredients • 1 kg chicken • 1 cup yogurt • 1 packet biryani masala • Salt to taste • 1 tsp red chilli powder • ½ tsp yellow food color • 1 cup tamarind pulp (imli) • 4 tomatoes (sliced) • Coriander + mint (½ bunch each) • Green chillies (as needed) • 3 fried onions (birista) • 2 potatoes (cubed) (optional) • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste • Aloo bukhara (optional) • Juice of 2 lemons • 1 cup oil • 4 cups boiled rice (80% cooked) ⸻ 👩‍🍳 Method (One-Pot) 1. In a large pot add: chicken + yogurt + masalas + imli pulp + tomatoes + herbs + chillies + birista + ginger garlic + lemon juice + potatoes + aloo bukhara. 2. Mix well and marinate 1 hour. 3. ONE POT VEG BIRYANI (Version 2.0) BY MASTERCHEFMOM - You are sure to get loads of compliments👍🏻 Save, Share and try 👌🏻😍 Ingredients for Biryani Masala To Grind them thick without adding water: 2 Onion 6 garlic cloves 1” ginger 2 green chillies handful of mint and coriander leaves To a cooker: Over low flame, Add 2 tsp ghee 2 tsp oil 2 bay leaf 1” cinnamon stick 2 cloves Mix well Add the ground Biryani Masala,salt, 1/2 tsp chilli powder,1/2 tsp garam masala powder or biryani masala powder Cook them over low flame for a few seconds Add vegetables ( 1 carrot, 10 beans, 1 potato, 1/3 cup peas) Squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon. Fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes . Add 1 cup washed rice, water ( 1:1 or 1:1.5) depending upon the rice variety you are using. If using packet basmati rice use 1:3/4 water.
