The BEST Iced Lemon Pound Cake 🍋✨ This perfect lemon loaf is soft, buttery, and packed with bright lemon flavor in every single bite. The lemon glaze soaks into every single crumb and the lemon icing just completes it! If you love lemon desserts, lemon loaf cake, and easy desserts — save this recipe! INGREDIENTS Cake: 1½ cups all-purpose flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1⅓ cups granulated sugar, 1 tbsp lemon zest, 1 cup full-fat sour cream, 3 extra-large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ¼ cup vegetable oil, ¼ cup salted butter (melted) Lemon Glaze: ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice, ⅓ cup sugar, 1 tbsp salted butter Lemon Icing: 1 cup confectioners’ sugar, 1½ tbsp fresh lemon juice, 2 tsp heavy cream, lemon zest (optional) DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan, line with parchment, and grease again. Whisk flour and baking powder. In a mixer, whisk sugar + lemon zest, then add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Mix in dry ingredients on low just until combined. Stir together oil and melted butter, then gently fold into the batter until fully blended. Pour into pan and smooth the top. Bake 55–65 minutes (I do 62 minutes), until a toothpick comes out clean. For the glaze: simmer lemon juice, sugar, and butter until dissolved and clear, stirring occasionally. Cool cake 10 minutes, remove from pan, and place on a rack over a baking sheet. While warm, slowly pour syrup over top and let soak in. Cool completely. For the icing: whisk confectioners’ sugar, lemon juice, and heavy cream until thick but spreadable. Spoon over cooled cake, spreading toward edges without letting it drip down the sides. 7UP Pound Cake 🍋 🧾 Ingredients * 3 sticks butter, softened * 3 1/2 cups white sugar * 5 eggs, room temperature * 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour * 1 tsp salt * 2 tbsp lemon juice * 3/4 cup 7UP soda 🍋 Drizzle * 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar * 3–4 tbsp lemon juice Temperature: 325°F Time: 60-90 minutes Pan: 10-12 cup bundt pan Here’s a cleaner, more aesthetic version of your recipe—perfect for sharing or posting: Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 325°F. 2. Mix flour and salt in separate bowl. Set aside. 3. In a large bowl or stand mixer, add softened butter and sugar. 4. Cream together for 3–5 minutes until light and fluffy. 5. Mix in 7UP soda and lemon juice. 6. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. 7. Sift flour and salt into the batter (recommended for a smoother texture). 8. Mix until everything is fully incorporated—do not overmix. 9. Generously grease and flour a Bundt pan to prevent sticking. 10. Evenly pour or scoop the batter into the pan. 11. Gently tap the pan on the counter to release air bubbles. 12. Bake for 1 hour- 1 hour & 30 minutes. This time depends on your oven and how it cooks. Once it reaches about 1 hour, check to see if it is cooking properly or on the way to be done. Go in about 10 minutes increments until cake is done. 13. Check doneness with a toothpick or knife. Should have a slight crumb but no visible wet batter. Cake should be set. 14. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then remove. 15. Allow the cake to cool completely before adding the drizzle. 🍋 Lemon Drizzle 1. In a bowl, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. 2. Adjust consistency by adding more lemon juice if needed. 3. Drizzle over the cooled cake. I love this cake so much, if you’ve been following me for a while, you’d know how often I make this! ❤️ Also since this cake is basically equal parts of butter, sugar, eggs and flour, you won’t have to remember or look up a recipe! It yields the most tender crumb and is sooo buttery, you’ll fall in love! 🥰 Ingredients- 150g butter 150g sugar 150g eggs (3 no.) 150g flour 1.5 teaspoon baking powder 1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup milk Procedure- 1. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 2. Add in the vanilla and eggs, one at a time, until fully incorporated. 3. Sift in the dry ingredients and fold to combine. 4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, to form a thick batter. 5. Transfer the batter into a prepared cake pan (7 inch ring or 8 inch loaf) and bake at 180C until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. This gluten-free orange pound cake is one of my favourite winter bakes – it's stuffed full of citrusy goodness (there's the zest of 3 whole oranges and ¾ cup of orange juice in the batter!!) and it's sooo easy to make 🍊🧡 And the flavour is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Add the oil, yogurt, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and food color, and whisk well. Add the flour and baking powder, and mix until just combined, do not overmix. Ingredients: 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour Pinch of salt 1/2 Tsp baking powder 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened) 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar 4 large eggs 1/2 cup sour cream 1 Tbsp Vanilla paste OPTIONAL: Lemon glaze ingredients: 1 cup powdered sugar 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 Tsp vanilla Pinch of salt Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350F and line a 9X5 loaf pan with parchment paper. 2. Mix your flour, salt and baking powder in a medium bowl and set aside. 3. In a stand mixer bowl with a whisk attachment, add your butter and mix till butter is creamy. Add your sugar and mix until combined. Scrape the bottom of the bowl to make sure there’s no butter stuck to the bottom. 4. Add one egg at a time and mix till all the eggs are combined. 5. Take it off the mixer and fold your flour mixture in till almost combined. 6. Add your sour cream and vanilla. Mix till combined. 7. Transfer into your loaf pan and bake for an hour to an hour and 10 minutes. Do the toothpick test to make sure there’s no raw batter before pulling it out of the oven. 8. Cool in the pan for 15 minute before transferring to a wire rack. OPTIONAL: For the lemon glaze: 1. Soft your powdered sugar in small bowl. 2. Add lemon juice, vanilla and salt. Banana Pudding Pound Cake🍌🍪🍰 (Using boxed cake mix) RECIPE: 1 box @realduncanhines classic yellow cake mix 1 cup @pillsbury all purpose flour 1 banana cream packet @jello 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted @kerrygoldusa unsalted butter 1 & 1/2 cups buttermilk 1/2 cup sour cream 4 eggs (room temperature) 1 tsp vanilla extract or bean paste & banana extract 2 mashed bananas (leave some chucks) Mix until smooth and then spray your Bundt cake pan with baking spray, I used “Pam” and add half of your cake batter. Then, crumble as many @nillawafers wafer cookies you’d like and add to the middle. Top with the remaining batter and bake on 350 degrees for an hour, checking at the 1 hour mark if it’s finished. If not, leave in for another 10-15 minutes. Let your cake cool completely before flipping it onto a wired rack & set aside to work on your banana pudding. BANANA PUDDING: 1 banana cream & 1 vanilla @jello packet 3 cups cold milk of choice (I used @chobani extra creamy oat) - Mix well until it begins to thicken (the pudding will be very thick and THAT’S OKAY) Once it thickens, scoop out about 1/4 cup to use for a drizzle later. In another bowl add 1 8oz block of @phillycreamchs cream cheese along with 1 can of @nestleusa sweetened condensed milk & blend until smooth. Add your pudding and 1 tub of @coolwhip and blend again until smooth and then set in the fridge for at least an hour. Add your banana pudding over your entire cooled cake along with 2 rows of nilla wafers, crushing some for the top of the cake. Then, add your pudding drizzle from earlier and more banana pudding in the center of the cake topped with @pepperidgefarm chessman cookies & enjoy! (You will most likely have left over banana pudding and that can be used to make a traditional banana pudding or another dessert of choice once stored in an airtight container in the fridge) #bananapudding #poundcake #baking #viral #banana
