BI𝐀𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, Mr. Sanjeev Dhall, CEO – Secure Meters, visited the Bihar Energy Department Pavilion and highlighted his company's successful implementation of smart prepaid electricity meters in rural Bihar. Despite initial skepticism over the logistical challenges of the region, the project achieved the installation of one million units in just over a year — a testament to the power of public-private collaboration.
Speaking at the theme 'Powering Bihar's Growth: Innovation, Inclusion and Investment', Mr. Dhall said, "We were initially skeptical about the challenges of rural Bihar, but the Bihar Government and the Department of Energy have been supporting us throughout the entire process. With their consistent backing, we successfully installed one million smart prepaid meters in just over a year, making electricity more affordable and accessible for low-income residents while significantly reducing power theft and fostering a sense of civic responsibility among villagers."
