I reached the full planche… then wrecked my shoulder doing bar dynamics. My rotator cuff got so bad I couldn’t lift my arm forward or even fake pouring a cup. I tried switching grips to keep training, but I still can’t lean, do HSPUs, dips, or even push-ups. Some days, grabbing my steering wheel or holding my child hurts. So I’m stepping away from chasing the full planche until both shoulders are truly healthy. This isn’t the end. It’s a reset. I’ll get you back, full planche. And I’ll document the whole journey. Starting from zero. P.S. I can still train pulls, front lever, and freestyle, but losing planche hits different. #calisthenics #rehab #injury #roadtorecovery #zerotofullplanche

It’s often the path less taken to return to playing sports at all (much less playing them at a high level). After2 ACL reconstructions and 3 total surgeries, I hope to inspire others that they can still chase their athletic goals/dreams... even after tearing their ACL or dealing with other career-threatening injuries.
