SESea Turtles have been swimming in our oceans for millennia since dinosaurs roamed the earth. These ancient beings travel thousands of kilometers of open ocean in mysterious migration patterns that we are only just beginning to understand.
Amazingly, female sea turtles return to nest on the same beaches they hatched on. Much of their migratory routes are unprotected, leaving them vulnerable to threats as they move around foraging, breeding, and nesting in the world’s oceans.
Of the seven species of sea turtle, six are endangered or threatened.
