Let me break it down 👇🏽 You grab a weight, do your first set, and think, Not bad. Let’s go heavier. Set two, heavier weight: Okay, now we’re talking. Final set, heaviest weight: That was tough. Done! ✅ The problem? ONLY your last set actually pushed you. If you want real growth, you need ALL your working sets at max intensity. Here’s how to fix it: 1️⃣ Do as many warm-up sets as you need—but keep them light and short. 2️⃣ Once you find your heavy, that’s where your working sets begin. MY APPROACH: ✍ Compound lifts: Start with 2-3 warm-up sets (10-15 reps) to get the blood flowing. Then, hit 2 heavy working sets (6-9 reps). Finish with a third set—drop the weight by 30% and crank out 12-15 reps or go until failure. ✍ Isolation lifts: 1-2 warm-ups, then 2-4 working sets (6-10 reps). This tweak? It’ll skyrocket your strength and muscle gains in a month. Send this to your gym partner—he needs to grow too.
