And disclaimer cause the threats I’m getting over in my DMs is insane. Rats are pests in nz. Nz litterally has a goal of being pest free in 2050.. hate to break it to you what that means if you are sooo upset about this video.. There is no wild life sanctuary they can go to. Our department of conservation and local councils actively work on eradicating invasive pests for us and our wildlife so they wouldn’t take these guys in to save them and support their population growth. Might I add we did this and finished around 7pm- there was no one to call, I had to care for my fam and that also means I certainly wasn’t going to bring them into my home and nurse them to health with the risk of disease they carry, I have a toddler and I’m pregnant.. and then what? Pay to surrender them to get dispatched of by a professional? Rats pose serious health and safety risks in cars and in homes- we discovered them in our walls, roof and around our house and had already got pest control onto them. My house, nor car cannot be a rat haven.. this is not reality. My family’s safety will always come first. It wasn’t ideal for sure but yeah .. if you are wishing harm on my unborn child and family you are sick and need help..

I’ve had over 1000 DMs about this after posting what was happening over on my instagram story. Here’s the update - honestly I had never ever heard about rats in cars before 😅 and I definitely didn’t think it would happen to me, especially that a birth had occurred 😳
We got 10 out in the end, 9of them were all in one spot which you can see us working on the most, but one of them was oddly in that centre thing, we couldn’t see any more anywhere else but it was HARD to look. Over the next few days I guess I’ll just be listening out for squeaking or scratching sounds.. what a worry!
My fav dm I got that I managed to see was that this has gotta be the most original content on insta at the moment 😂 and I mean seriously what the heck.. you cannot make this up
