This movement trains spinal control without compressing the spine. • Cat cows x10 Restore flexion and extension in your upper back. Sitting all day flattens this motion and stiffness builds fast. • Plank to down dog x10 Strengthen your core while opening the hamstrings and calves. This loads the tissue while it lengthens, which is more effective than passive stretching alone. • Thread the needle Train thoracic rotation. Rotation is essential for shoulder health and everyday movement and is one of the first things we lose with desk life. • Forward fold + runner’s lunge Open the hamstrings and hip flexors. Long sitting shortens the front of the hips and limits hip extension. Do this regularly and you are not just stretching. You are restoring spinal movement, improving core stability, and reversing the stiffness that comes from a sedentary lifestyle.

If you’re reading this, thank you, i put a lot of work into my captions & genuinely hope this can teach you something💙🧜‍♂️ This is exactly why doing a fascia release on just one muscle doesn’t fix the rest of the body, and why every muscle along a fascial line needs some attention. I just made a video about the jaw & its importance, Unlocking the jaw alone won’t fix everything if the rest of the line is still restricted and the same goes the other way around. When one region is in pain or stuck in poor posture, the entire region compensates and starts functioning in a dysfunctional pattern. After treating myself and guiding hundreds of people through fascia release, this pattern shows up every single time. Sitting and our modern iPhone bro lifestyle have put almost all of us into the same predictable restrictions. The goal isn’t to attack one muscle and hope the rest fix themself, it’s to restore communication across the whole line!!!🏋️🏋️🏋️🤸🏼🧘‍♂️🧜‍♂️ Every muscle doesn’t need the same amount of treatment, but almost all of them need at least a little. That’s why in this video I guide you to go over the entire line, find a spot on that line that’s tight or hurts, when you find a spot that’s tight or hurts move the muscle through a full range of motion. Every muscle needs similar techniques but with every muscle you will find different amounts of spots that feel tight or hurt. When the entire fascia line starts to glide again, the body finally has the chance to work as a connected system which is literally just the way it was supposed to🥳 The ‘5 Myths of Fascia Release’ video in my bio explains why so many people feel stuck in tension, pain, and low energy… why our bodies are trapping toxins and what fascia actually has to do with it. 💙
